Long range skyline pano of Buckhead (Atlanta)

Hey guys,

Last Saturday I shot a sunrise from Vinings Mountain (6 miles NW of Atlanta, line of sight) toward Buckhead and Atlanta, GA. I was hoping for a low humidity day so I could see all the way to ATL, but as soon as the sun popped the haze got thick and hindered my view of ATL. The Buckhead view was clear, but I was late setting up and missed the building lights, but the sunrise and silhouette is pretty interesting. The pan from Buckhead to the left edge of the image is ~5 miles.

Nice place to make a gigapanorama!

Try to make the bottom part of the panorama more light, i see just under exposure in the bottom part. I can't see any details any more. The third panorama is the best.
Maybe some minutes later the front part will give more details. The color of the sky is amazing! Ore try out HDR.

Can you give more technical info... number of pictures, lens used?

Johan, yep, not too shabby!

All were shot with Nikon D3s and 70-200 at ISO 200. The first shot is 14 vertical images at 135mm, 1/125 at f5.6. The second is 13 vertical images at 200mm, 1/800, f7.1. The third is 14 horizontal shots, 200mm, 1/6 at f5.6 (this one was the first shot, obviously).

There wasn't much in the foreground. I increased the contrast and decreased the black in LR4 beta.
