View Full Version : Why not offer a shorter upper rail instead of QRC-40B solution?

QRC-40B adds extra weight and requires to adjust the postion of a vertical rail (easy to do, but anyway).

Shorter rail shouldn't be expensive, I suppose.

Hi Andrey,

QRC-40B to slide along the rail can be used as a macro slide to make macro photography a breeze.
We will make shorter rails that can act as lens plates for tele lenses with ring mount.
The Modular series is still under active development with new components to make it more versatile and more user friendly.

For fisheyes capable of 3 shot stitch, you can use our lens ring mount. In fact, for 3 shot stitch, the lens ring with R1/10 is the way to go. R1/10 for 3-4 shots stitching has become very popular.
For 4-6 shots stitching, MFR-170 should be fine.
