Hello, I'm still fairly new to pano photography, and I would think that it might make life easier to get a shutter release system, of which, I have no experience with, for my Nikon Coolpix P5100.

From what I've researched, there doesn't seam to be any compatible remotes for the 5100, wired, or wireless. I did find A Flash/Shutter Release (http://www.amazon.com/Studiohut-Wireless-Shutter-Trigger-flashes/dp/B004IMKO66) that mounts on where the external flash would, which I am considering.

The only other option I know of is to use a mechanical shutter release system. I did find one from from a website I've never heard of from here-
http://www.srb-griturn.com/cable-release-bracket-for-nikon-coolpix-p5000-p5100-and-p6000-1372-p.asp
which is specifically for my camera, and a generic release found here-
http://www.amazon.com/Studiohut-Wireless-Shutter-Trigger-flashes/dp/B004IMKO66
but it says "Without A Threaded Shutter Release". Where can I find a good threaded shutter release?

If anyone has any opinions on these products, or has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks in advance, -Ian
