I have a Joby ball head, their plates are arca compatible

would they fit in the QRP-2?

no. They are different in size and dovetail angle.

No. You have to get the Arca Style quick release clamp: http://store.nodalninja.com/products/Arca-Style-Quick-Release-Clamp.html

The QRP-2 takes a much wider plate and arca style plates are too small to fix them.
