Late last year I brought some Gitzo GT3541 Mountaineer sticks plus a Arca Z1 monoball.
Naturally I want to keep these (bludy) expensive items protected so ended up getting a ThinkTankPhoto Humungous Bazooka tripod bag ( http://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/humongous-bazooka-tripod-case.aspx).
This bag is actually too wide for the legs but I thought as a test I'd see if I could get a NN5 in.

Bag is distorted but......

As it's telescopic, it closes up fine

and with these legs, comes to 37" / 94cm in length.
Now I wouldn't keep this permanently zipped up but I've managed to get a very well thought out and made tripod bag to offer more protection. I know I'll use this set up when transporting my pano rig in future.
