Card reader with Firewire 800, great performance

Hi guys,

cause it took a long time to download 32GB Sandisk ExtremePro NEF (Raw) data with USB 2.0, I decided to get the Lexar CompactFlash Reader (Firewire 800).

Recieved it last friday, and the performance is amazing. It is really worth the around 60€.

So now I do not download from the camera, for CF cards I use the Lexar instead.

yep it's definitively a good deal to get valuable time when you shot a lot of pictures, with large memory cards :closedeyes: and best if you use very speedy memory cards :001_tongue:

At work we use at 15 workstation the Lexar CompactFlash Reader (Firewire 800).

After using usb readers (internal and externa) the Lexar is the best with speed and build quality!
We use CF card from Scandisk 8Gb and 16Gb Ultra II for recording in Grass Valley Camera's Infinity DMC1000.
