Anyone using the Nodal Ninja 5 along with 5D mark 11 and 24-105 L Lens for large panoramic shots and stitching? If so, how are you liking it (the lens in particular)? If anyone has the ninja settings for this set up, I would much appreciate it.
Thanks,
Neil

Hello Neil,
try a LRS of 57 for your camera and test it. http://www.easypano.com/forum/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=1&TopicID=4162.
Just place the camera lens combination with CP-2 to the upper rail, using bigger lenses like a 70-200mm, you fix CP-2 to the lens ring and fix this to the upper rails.

That was what I used for the Royal Theatre shot. http://www.panoramas.dk/2010/queen-margrethe-birthday.html
I do not have the lens, borrowed it from a friend. I used it at 40mm and thats the best position.
It starts loosing sharpness at the edges at 50mm.
You can check it at this testsite http://www.photozone.de/canon_eos_ff
Remember to turn of the IS if you use it on tripod.
Finding the NPP took me less than 30 seconds. Learn how to do that yourself, It is very easy to do especially with the life view on the Mark II
It is always better to use a fixed lens for high resolution multirow.
Compare the edges with a cheap lens like the 35mm 2.0
And for the bottom rail the position is 53-54
Not 57mm
It can with some lenses change +-1 mm because lenses are not always perfectly centered but never as much as 57mm for the 5D.
