nn5+D3+Sigma 8mm f3.5 setting?

hi,

I just bought NN5 with RD 16 by my friend from USA Nodal ninja. Can everyone tell me the upper rail setting using Nikon D3 with a sigma 8mm f3.5 fisheye?

The lower setting is 86mm, I tested the upper setting from 79mm to 90mm every milimeter, but I can not find the accurate setting ,why?

Hallo,

try 87 for upper rail setting, and try to place your reference pole as close as possible to the camera.

You may try the settings from D200/D300, because these cameras have the same tripod mount position of the body and same place of the sensor as D3.

Please tell me the good upper rail setting.
