Hi,
I recently acquire 300mm tele prime lens. I have NN5 with RD16. After I read field of view calculator table, I noticed that I need 3.5 degree intervals. RD16 can have only 3.75 interval. Is there any solution for it? I wish live support chat comes back on NN site.
Thanks,
Wilco

Assuming you are using FF camera. at 300mm, the overlap is less than 20% if a 3.75 interval is used. Can be a problem. No solution.

Hi Wilco,
A 300mm prime should have the optional lens collar. Using a lens collar, you can mount the camera in landscape position. In this orienation, a 5 deg detent is good enough for horizontal rotation. A 3.75 deg detent will be good for a 300mm + 1.4x converter!
