View Full Version : Canon 30d and Canon EF-S 10-22mm, how many row?
i have Nodal Ninja 3 MKII with RD3L 6-8-10. I'm using it with Canon 30d and Canon EF-S 10-22mm.
what is the minimum row for this setup to get 360x180 deg panos?
i my mind, take 1 zenith, 10 shots 20 deg up and 10 shots 45 deg down and 2 nadir.
any comment appreciated, thanks

Using a horizontal row, as recommended here http://www.vrwave.com/, has the advantage of simpler joins and best image quality from the centere of the image frame at the horizontal level , where the interesting parts of a panorama tend to reside.

Hi Edex,
with Zoom at 20mm you could try this:
1.Row 6 60¬? 31,2% 45¬?
2.Row 10 36¬? 41,6% 0¬?
3.Row 6 60¬? 31,2% -45¬? , vertical overlap is 46,41 % H/H, shoot +/- 90¬? as well
Zoom at 22mm :
1.Row 8 45¬? 44,1% 45¬?
2.Row 10 36¬? 36,8% 0¬?
3.Row 8 45¬? 44,1% -45¬? , +- 90¬? as well
Cause i do not have your lens, i suppose zoom following the canon picture 20/22 is the same position. So might be you have to try.
